When a primary school student chance-encountered Eminem at our library! 🎧📚

In July, Read-Cycling hosted five book re-channelling programmes at our PPO Library community space. Participating students put their HKD100 complimentary book coupons to great use, treasure-hunting for titles they’ve always wanted to own. As always, their choices completely surprised us!

One young student was thrilled to spot an original English biography of Eminem. A dedicated fan of the legendary rapper, he had been listening to Eminem’s tracks right up until the moment he walked through our doors—and walked out with his dream book.

Moments like these remind us why we love what we do. We can’t wait for more wonderful chance encounters between young readers and great books!
