「蒲蒲書館日」終於返嚟啦!〡Open (A Book) Day is back

今年仲未有得去「書送快樂日」,大家係咪覺得空虛寂寞凍呢?

我哋都覺得呀,無得見一眾愛書人真係有幾分寂寞。

不過唔緊要,「蒲蒲書館日」即將喺6月下旬舉行,而且開足一個星期!

.

今次好開心可以同中文大學專業進修學院兩個學生組織,分別係閱讀學會及中華文化學會合辦。除咗有我哋「蒲書館」嘅書之外,兩個學會都會帶埋佢哋精選嘅書上嚟義買架。

.

一年只有兩次,「書送快樂」書倉「蒲書館」全面向公眾開放。逾二萬本由全港愛書人送出很新嘅中英文舊書,包括書店剛下架的、書迷搬家割愛的、兒女長大不得不捨棄的,全部以原價約三成發售,收益將用作推動補貼書籍轉贈及籌劃文化活動支出。

- 只接受現金,不設找續

- 請自備購物袋

- 為保障社區及個人健康,在「蒲書館」範圍內請戴上口罩,入場前須量度體溫,場內有消毒搓手液提供。若現場有過多訪客,閣下可能須在入口排隊等候。不便之處,敬請見諒。

「蒲書館」乃註冊慈善團體「書送快樂」(IR No. 91/10408) 旗下項目,平日主要用作接待學校及非牟利團體,將收集到的好書轉贈不同社區,發揮資源共享精神。

Co-hosted with two student units of the School of Continuing and Professional Studies, The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUSCU), Read-Cycling is bringing back its annual event "Open (A Book) Day" this June at its warehouse, aka, PPO Library#.

.

Plunge into the joy of treasure-hunting, or simply enjoy a relaxed moment with books donated by book lovers all over Hong Kong. The 20,000 English and Chinese titles in stock will be sold at around 1/3 of the original price. Book lovers of all ages are welcome.

The proceeds will be used to finance Read-Cycling's used book re-donation programs and cultural activities.

Remarks

  • We DO NOT accept book donation at the venue due to manpower shortage.

  • Cash only. Exact change, please.

  • Please bring your own bag.

  • To safeguard public health, everyone has to wear a mask at the venue. Alcohol-based hand rub will be provided at the entrance. We'll take visitors' temperatures before entering. You may need to wait if the venue has too many visitors. Thank you for your understanding.

# PPO Library is a flagship project of local charity Read-Cycling (IR No. 91/10408) . A warehouse for used books by nature, it also doubles as a resource sharing centre where we run books re-donation programs to serve schools and NGOs.
