Here comes the second user of our newly-launched “Free Books for NGOs" Programme. The social workers from “Fung Ying Seen Koon Cheung Lung Wai Integrated Service Centre" wish to make reading an enjoyable way of life among the young in Sheung Shui. They found us on Facebook and were thrilled that the Programme could bridge the gap between their expectation and the resources available.  Alice, the social worker from the centre, visited our warehouse “PPO Library" a few days ago and picked up around 160 Chinese and English books that are suitable for readers from toddlers to teenagers.  Apart from novels and picture books,  there were also books on handicrafts and group games which would be used to help the centre to design and plan relevant  activities for their members.
Let’s make happiness go viral.  We are calling for like-minded NGO counterparts to come and choose from our rich collection in accordance with their members’ interests and needs, for free. Interested? Email us at enquiry@read-cycling.org for an appointment.
PPO Library is planning for an open day for the public.  Stay-tuned!
